Default Square number plate on a hawkeye?

Looking for a photo of a square (bike style) front number plate on a blue hawkeye. Can anyone help?????
Also are they legal?

Someone should tell the police on the "Interceptors" on channel 5, theirs has square number plates on the front lol

i have had a plate 12 x 8'' on my hawkeye for two years with no problem

Square plates are perfectly road legal if the correct size, as above.

My car isn't blue but you can see another example in my garage. I can't be arsed to post the link (look to the left)

My rear is jap sized and it totally legal. Slightly more rectangle than square though.

i put a small one on my hawkeye which looked fine, even has the british standard numbers on the bottom , but mr intercepter didnt like it and told me to remove it!!

gutted as it looks sweet....maybe try again in the summer

I think the square plate ruins the front of the car. It needs to go under the bottom grill imo

Agree , i wouldnt put a square plate on my beloved RB320,far too nice to ruin a special car.

The standard UK plates rub the paint work on the front though as the mounting is not big enough and the edges of the plate rub the paint when at speed.

Jap plates on a UK car are not strictly road legal by the way. Fine on an import. You have to use the UK size square plates otherwise.
