Bruvjon..

Just interested in the Launce Control......... The Denso ECU was a great improvement on the JECS ECU of the classic but not sure it had any launch control features built in.

Just curious as to how you do it

Duncan added it in when he remapped it.
It is a two step launch control first gear engaged clutch down floor accelerator it cuts ignition timing and holds revs around 4.5/5000 rpm you then feed in clutch off you go
Duncan aka Dynamics would be the best person to explain it

My pleasure Jon - good to meet you. Car seemed to go really well

Launch control adds in a temporary rev limit while at sub 6mph to allow boost to be built at standstill (builds about 0.8bar) ready for sidestepping the clutch and holding onto your spleen It isn't quite the full on launch control you find on the advanced ecu's like Solaris or Simtek but it does a great job at getting consistent launches.

How did your daughter like the launches?

Haven't tried with her in the car yet Duncan but I did have a go last night against a guy driving a boxter s who had been tailgaiting me and cutting me up at a set of lights.
The look on his face when I went past him priceless 
