can someone point me in the right direction for the gaskets required , and how difficult is this job , what's got to come off to get at them , and how many days do i need to book off to do it ? lots of questions i know , but the answers will be greatly appreaciated .

Make sure you use high temp three bond sealer , just put a smear on all the way round to help seal you need a rocker cover joint , two spark plug joints , and the seals for the bolts and i would also change the half moons on the cam whilst it is all off as these do go brittle and can be disturbed when removing the cover . Make sure you clean every thing up and degrease , jacking the car up slightly will also encourage the oil to run back into the engine rather than running out to help clean the head surface up , i did mine with the engine out so torqued the bolts up correctly as you don't want to over tighten them, not sure if you can fit the torque wrench down the inner wing but you can feel what the torque feels like on anouther nut and bolt to give you an idea of how much to pull them up .

good luck not too hard just fiddly.

Careful not to overtighten the bolts , they shear dead easy and then become an engine out job. See here https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...et-sealer.html
