what would you do ?
i put my car up for sale the other week for 5500 and yesterday it decided to start to let go (slight bottom end knock) i have lowered the price to 4300 on offer as is broke but i am just wondering if its worth me fixing it and selling it for the 5500 i wanted or a little bit more as i would put better shells in ? help what would you do ?

as above what car do you have??? lol would you pay 4,300 for a car with a damaged engine?? diont mean to put a downer on you situation. hope it all works out

will have to agree with everyone else on this you will struggle at the lower price even if it had a good engine as it is its probably worth £1,500 at the most irrespective of what parts have been fitted recently.

Rebuilding it is the best idea. A lot of the cars on Autotrader etc are overpriced and have been on there for months.
i am a complete and utter prat !! i had fixed the heat sheild on the up pipe and the screw i had used fell out and started rattling on the sheild making me think the bottom end had gone , i gotta say thats a little bit embarressing after me ringing everyone around for quotes
