Subaru Impreza Fitting Gold Brembo's with WRX Wheels
I would put this in Technical Topics Archive but there's no button allowing me to! 
As there isn't a thread about fitting WRX Wheels with Gold Brembo's I have decided to do one!
Basically you strip the hub so you can access the studs, Knock the studs out and replace using a 10mm longer studs and 10mm Hub Centric spacer!
Put the stud in from behind and put washes on as spacers with a nut and then hand tighten till tight then use the impact gun to nip up to pull the studs through!
Once all the studs are on then fit the calipers and discs,
Ok the tricky bit is getting the 10mm Hub Centric spacer to fit the wheel (Not the hub!) You need to put the wheel on its face but on something soft like a pillow, So you can access the wheel from behind! Then take you hammer gently knocking the spacer into the spridget ring area so it sits flush and lined up with the back of the wheel!
Once done put the wheel on and there you go, Fitting Gold Brembo's to a Subaru Impreza with WRX Wheels!

Just a head up, but the spacer thing did get me thinking... Would say an ET30/35 Offset wheel cause a problem on track or road?
The standard wheels are sooo skinny on the wrx its untrue, and i wanted to stick with a 17"x8 rim but wanted an offset of around et35ish to fill the arches better and give a slightly wider track at the same time.
ANy gen?

Why not I know people with 600bhp Plus on Subaru's running Hub centric spacers without no problems at all and still fantastic handling!
You might be confusing the sh1tty standard spacers with Hub Centric bud!

There are people out there who can pick up Gold Brembo's for a good price but who struggle to fit them with WRX Wheels so this a a cheaper way of doing things!
Brembo's are about £500 then another £500 + to buy better wheels ? or a spacer kits for £90 ? See what I mean buddy ?

True to a point but when the wheels are done for next to nothing and you have new tyres Toyo T1S's its cheaper to do this IMHO!

Mmmm, yeah i got wheels and half worn 888s for 300 quid. At least im safe in the knowledge that they wont fall off

So how do you make a ****ty 10mm spacer then when all it is is a 10mm disk with 5 holes in it? I had spacers on mine when I fitted STi brembos and it was farking awefull to drive. I subsequently fitted STi 7 wheels aswell and it made a hell of a difference.

Ah, Ok well the 10mm Hubcentrics feel spot on and my car feels fantastic on these! Smooth as a baby's bum! lol

Nice write up, I had to do the same on an old car of mine to clear some Brembos. Eibach spacers are quality & TUV approved so are as good as it gets. As you say not to be confused with some round bits of monkey metal.
