Hi All,

Can anyone else confirm if a standard ST 2006 has a single tone horn or a two tone horn?
My car sounds like a little min but Subaru looked and said its ment to sound like that!
But all my information is that they have two tone horns fitted not one, dont know if EU makes a difference?

All Impreza's from day one to present have twin horns (1x High + 1x Low)

I dont know if mine is one or two tone, but whatever it is i never use it in front of anyone I know as its embarrasing!!. Sounds like an old Datsun.

 

i know of a few people that have upgraded them as they are a bit lame. dont know what to. i try not to use mine, would rather drop a gear lol

 

I think your right about the 2 horns, just replaced mine for PIAA ones, removed two OE horns from my 02 and plugged the new ones in..........much better sound, there is a horn thread on here somewhere mate HTH

Just changed mine, and they are definately 2 tone( not nice ) as it's stamped H on one horn and L on the other , and am i glad they are gone, i will beep at anyone now as i have fitted some 2 tone fiamm ones now, took about an hour to fit, bit of a tight squeeze but worth the cuts and scrapes imo

 

lol what sort of cost for the new horns?
