.....lots of threads in the last month or so ref big turbo`s and hybrid....

Can anyone list the suppliers for hybrid turbo`s for the Scooby?

There was talk of a PE 180 / 270, a garret hybrid and a company in Switzerland that rebuilds TD04`s.

Can anyone confirm company details?

Cheers.

the pe is power enterprises 1818 and 1820, this is the turbo that gave andy tang is 354 bhp or whatever.

It is only an IHI turbo and not much more special than that.

The americans think it is the best and largest thing sliced bread but this is not the case.

urbo dynamics are a good company in the UK for supplying IHI hybrids. TD 04 and 05 hybrids could be done by owen developmemts but dont think they are cheap.

I believe places like scoobymania and brdevelopments sell ihi hybrids, but if you want a deal, I am still selling my remaining one second hand for a lot less.

Mmmmm Garrett/IHI hybrid from $450 !! So probably still under £450 all in, inc duty and delivered to the UK ?
Sounds a good deal to me
Do you have more details/maps of the T3-T04 compressor wheels/casings used ? I assume the EG turbine is garrett with the IHI housing modified ?

When will they be available ?

That to me looks like they have bodged a garrett wheel into an ihi housing.

Not good at all. Would be better off with an TD MD195 which is essentially the same, but their quality looks much better to me!

I wouldn't right it off just yet If there's enough meat on the original IHI exhaust housing to machine the proper Garrett turbine wheel profile, then no reason why it shouldn't work well. Is there ??
