Question

I've heard that the MY00 turbo (not STi) is available in sonic blue from europe or N.I - is this true? (Seen loads in DBM)

Anyone got details or pics of such a car (preferably with colour coded sils and mirrors)???

Cool

They were indeed available in Sonic Blue and the mirrors were factory coded on MY00's.

Try looking through the Members Gallery forum for one of the many 'Blue Scoob' threads.

Cheers

Cool

You are indeed correct - it was possible to order a car from Europe in Blue Mica (rather than Deep Blue Mica), mine is just such a car.
I don't have a picture (and couldn't post one anyway ) If you know Craft, ask him how nice it looks Colur coded mirrors and handles were std on the MY00
Look on the Brands Hatch 30 Nov pictures by PeteUK300, mine is somewhere on there.

You get the best colour and save 6K

Nice car Tony, thanx again!

I really like this colour, is it actually called "sonic blue" or just "blue mica"

Here's a pic of mine in the colour you are talking about.

It's known by a few different names, Sonic Blue is one of them. The paint code for this colour is 74F which is the same as the P1 or STI versions.

Here's a 'Sonic Blue' one from Holland.

The paint code is 74F and it's also known as 555 Rally Blue in Holland. The P1 is the same colour as is the Terzo.

I think when my (silver) MY00 reaches 100k I may chop it in for a low-mileage '00 in sonic blue. What a colour! (unless there are any P1s kicking around in my price range this time next year)

Thanx 4 the replys and pics, very nice cars!!

It's definitely the colour I want, thought it was only for STi's and P1's though - now I know for sure.

MY00, 4 door, sonic blue, colour coded wanted!! (But can't have yet - baby (4 weeks to go) then gotta move house)!!!

I'll just have to settle for my WRC 2000 model RC and borrowing my bro's DBM MY00 occasionally.

Thanx again!

Dave

Nice pictues.

Just thought I'd point out in the first picture the rear spoiler is not the standard one and the sills under the doors have been painted which is also not standard. The wheels are not standard either.

In the second pic the rear spoiler is not the standard one even though it looks the same as the one in the first pic and once again the nice gold wheels are not standard.

I'm not knocking your cars chaps I like the mods - just pointing out the differences from standard. If I could be arsed I'd post a picture of mine which is standard.

The MY00 Euro import does not come with an alarm as standard and has no rear sticker to say its a turbo. It also does not have locking wheel nuts. These are the only differences I have been able to verify.

As you might guess I own a sonic blue My00 import. Its not for sale
