Im sorry if this has been posted before...

But im looking at buying a HKS SSQV dump valve. Does anybody have one or had one???....Im wanting to no if there as good as there made out to be, and if there as loud as the videos i have seen on youtube???

 

I have an SSQV on my classic and my mother has an SSQV on her bugeye, I can't fault the unit can adjust the volume or pitch on mine, you can also change the fins to make a different sound if you do so wish.

Decent units from what I've heard and seen.

And yes...they are LOUD

 

i have one on my wagon... not really my thing but after having the car a year i still not got round to removing it. Yep they are loud! gonna play about with the screw on the back and see if i can calm it down or increase the pre-load on the dump spring. what i like the least is that it whistles really loud going back to part throttle when the turbo is well into boost.

if you want a loud one you will deffinately enjoy it! like i said not really my thing but i do still find it a bit of a laugh on occasion!
