Hi Peeps.
Just thought some of you might like a look at these.
They were taken by my mate Franco at the recent Donington track day, and both show really well what the AP's are capable of.
The first one, titled 'Steffi Stuka' can be found at

Just thought I'd rejuvenate this thread for some of the newbies, as I've had several e-mails regarding my brakes at Oulton.

Don't you find your rear pads get screwed over braking that hard ? (mine do and I don't even have AP's)

Never had any real probs with the rears.

Bisto.
Surprise, surprise.....
As Harj says, get your canoe onto the track before lecturing others, you letcherous snotgrass that hangs from the proverbial bum-hole of a fibreglass steam train!!!

Martin.
The pads being used in the picci's were actually the infamous Ferodo DS3000's that have been the wrath of P1 owners for the last few months. It has to be said that their performance on track is nothing short of outstanding, though they do wear the disc faster than any other pad I've used. There is always a price to pay for better braking, the PFC carbon metallic's I currently use are prone to cracking the discs.
Apparently, Ferodo have developed a new compound, the DS2500 which AP have asked me to try in the near future and EBC have also developed a new 'Blue Stuff' which slots in above the Yellows and is supposed to last for yonks. I'll be trying these out as soon as they're available as well.
If you're referring to the rear pads, I was using Mintex 1155 and they seem to last quite well.

Beef.
Actually, that's all my own work!

My Marj,
What big fingers you have......I know all the better to eat with my dear.
And boys I would sooner turn up in a canoe than a jumped up Jap bathtub on wheels.
Why do they call it an Impreza, more to the point who does it Impress..the only time heads turn to look at one of them is when it`s just made a loud cracking noise after running into the back of another car.
bring on the abuse boys I`m waiting!.
P,s i think if you care to look back in your history Marj all that abuse on the other bb was aimed at you, Oww and I have noticed since then you haven`t frequented the area much.
Bye Bye big boy.
