The C-shape is for classics and early newages.

That is definately a straight one you need. If you need a c-shape one you will be removing a plastic c-shape one first.

Dont change them as there will be no benefit, there solid type as std.

Others with uniballs will "knock" after a very short time on our roads.

I dont think you are going to gain anything by changing the original links, other than for looks, the ones you have fitted will not suffer from the flex problem that affected the earlier plastic c type link. Jay

Not necessarily true, I've had perrin rear links and whiteline fronts, both with pillow ball mounts, for over a year and not a peep out of them. I'm getting more creaking from my poly ARB bushes because they need re-greasing. You just need to look after them.

Std are best IMHO. Oh and are a damn sight cheaper as well as longer lasting.

As others have said they are the straight ones . I have the Perrin links and rollbars on my WR1 and they are excellent. They have been on the car for quite some time now and dont knock and still look like new.
If you are upgrading the rollbars you will need the endlinks eventually. A friend of mine fitted Whiteline bars with standard droplinks (the newer straight ones) and he managed to bend the links very quickly.

Hey Dan,
Looks like you've got the straight ones.
The 04 STi is the borderline for when the droplinks change, so depending on what shape drop links you've got determines which anti-roll bar you would fit your car.
Anyways catch ya later

I was under the impression that the type25 suspension setup uses whiteline ARB's and standard droplinks quite successfully

You just need to see how Ricky's hold up at the track day. Any drama's you know to uprate your links when you get the ARB
