Whats the deal with cars from Cyprus?
I can't afford it, but I remember a programme on BBC1 (road cops or something) that was talking about cars getting nicked here and then sent to Cyprus and being re-registered over there.
Its just this 2007 sti seems very cheap to me: Subaru : Impreza STI Type UK

As I recall, Cyprus gets the same spec cars as the UK and therfore is a favorite source of grey imports.
Perfectly good cars, legally imported but with some warranty 'issues' (Think Motorpoint had a legal battle and came out on top ?)

Not strictly "grey" imports but "Euro" imports (Grey are JDMs)
Cyprus have the same RHD models as the UK and importers can purchase them there, import them themselves..then sell here undercutting Subaru UK's prices...same car...just different shipping address from Japan.
As Gary said... all Euro imports can now be registered with Subaru UK and thus receive the Subaru UK warranty (as they always should have).

When I use to be in the Merchant Navy, on the way back from Iraq we had to stop off in Cyprus to collect about 15 cars (we were carrying military vehicles like tanks etc), but some officers put a request in for their cars to be picked up in Larnaca. I was told it was a lot cheaper for them to do this....especially as they had free transport to the UK. I'll never forgot the bright pink Scoob we picked up either!!
