I have just read a thread that mentions this noise and links it to a 'big end' problem......

Can anyone throw any light on this?

Cheers

The only "Helicopter" noise you`ll hear is from the old Bill chopper as it checks out your speed down the M1 on the way home from work!!
Get someone who really knows the sound of Scoobs to have a listen before you go nuts.

Paul,

As far as I know the helli sound is usually piston slap, not bearings.

The above link is to a sound file of piston slap which was provided by AJ leslie, a member of this bbs.

Cheers,

Wrexy.
