I have just read a thread that mentions this noise and links it to a 'big end' problem......

Can anyone throw any light on this?

Same thing here m8! It wasn't till this sound file that I have started to relax a bit. All the posts on noises had me a very nervous man. :D

As far as I know the helli sound is usually piston slap, not bearings. :confused:
