VAG offset is normally ET35

Subaru offset is normally ET48-53, so you would need 13-18mm spacers for them to work.

Wrong way around.

ISTR that Sticky put a wide(r) arch kit on his car. Which would help with clearance. Otherwise it'll clobber the outside wheelarch lip.

Correct he bought those wheels specifically to fill out the wide arches.

Quote taken from Sticky on another thread:

wheels are et+35 18" audi rs4 replicas, i had my hubs converted to "audi spec" so they fit properlly with 0.5mm custom stainless steel spigot rings made up to suit.

they dont fit without mods as nobody makes up the correct size spigot rings (0.5mm size)

It was just a thought, however the guy selling the audi replica wheels states there a 45 offset and PCD 100...which i would have thought they would go straight on...

The RS4 replica wheels are posibly a different offset to the ones above

the centre bore size would be to big

audi/vag is 57.1mm and the scoob is 56.1mm

you would need some 0.5mm thin material to make up some spigots.

if you make some, make sure they are BANG on, i tried wrapping tape around the hub and stuff to get the wheels to centre properlly and other crazy things, and they were never right, steering wheel was always wobbling its **** off, complete pita

you can fit VAG spec aftermarket wheels if they have plastic spigots, as you can simply change the plastic spigot for the correct ones, but the REPLICA wheels, are almost always made for use without spigots, you could have them machined at extra expense to take "normal" plastic spigot rings i suppose?

mine were actually made in nissans factory plant, on a nightshift by a mate on 1 million quids worth of machine LOL

they are 0.5mm thin stainless steel bands, approx 15mm deep, these are 56.1mm ID and are forced onto the subaru hub,

it means i cant use subaru wheels anymore, unless i remove them, and they didint want to come off the last time i checked them lol

some of the rep wheels are 45 offset from my previous sniffing about.
