The two I mainly use are:-

www.play247.com for Region 1 & 2 at better than UK prices & fairly quick delivery.

www.dvdboxoffice.com (Canadian) - I've had some of my cheapest R1 DVD deals from here, but they take longer to arrive - 1 week average but up to 3 or 4 at worst, plus you can't tell whether they have 'em in stock or not. Some prices (a few) are strangely expensive too. Good thing is they always tick the "gift" box on the customs certificate and the value is in French Francs (the DVDs seem to come via France) and under £18, so I've never yet had a VAT invoice (in about 20 purchases).

I'm sure loads more people will post loads of others.

All the best,

Deano

Thumbs up

If you're after not necessarily the cheapest DVD's, but want something obscure from anywhere around the world (Region 1,3,4 etc.) try www.interdvd.co.uk as they are extremely good at finding rare disks (e.g. cult horror, Manga, Criterion releases, 'Once Upon a Time in America' etc.)

I use them quite a lot as I have somewhat more diverse tastes in movies than the average Joe.

The really cool thing is you email them from the 'Can't Find It' section of their website and they will try and track something specific down for you. Have used this service several times - it's excellent.

Regards,

tiggers.

I use a couple of Aussie sites -

http://store.yahoo.com/dvdcrave-au/index.html

http://www.ezydvd.com.au/

I've used them both without any probs.

Wink

Yeah, http://www.cdwow.com are about a £1 or so cheaper than http://www.play.com but they can't guarantee what region film you'll get!!

Not that it bothers me!

Both sites are great (never had any problems) and play.com have a huge stock. Also play.com are quick to send out any 'out of stock' items you've ordered. Be prepared for a trip to the Post Office though if you're not in when the Postman knocks.

All IMHO.

Regards,

Peter

http://www.dvdzone2.com is another that can be used. French site but with English option. Price in Euros and some times cheaper than play etc.

Also the have some special editions that we don't get. They had a special tin edition of Total Recall. Very similar in design to that of English T2.

Got the Rock for £9 from them.

P.
