Default help ! WRX LOSS OF POWER WHEN WARM ?!

help !
WRX starts first time, ticks over and off we go.
Boost is good performance is good.

Coolant temp gets up to normal and then in the 4000RPM territory it appears to cut out and starts 'kangarooing'

It was fine til I put some excellium super in it the night before.
I filled up drove home and then next day this happened.

I've no receipt and wondered if stupidly I'd put Ron95 in it by mistake?? as my daily driver uses that ?
What are the symptoms of normal unleaded being used.

Has anyone a clue where I start looking ?

has anyone experienced similar ??

cheers for looking

Hello mate yeah i had the same experience when i first got my car, the guy i bought it off put 97 ron in it and up to 5k was all good but beyond that was all over the place. Had to run a tank and a half before it sorted itself out. Hope this helps.

thanks, I was bricking it !

I only put £20 in thinking I was selling it : (
So I'll run it around town only for a bit and then go and put a shed load of Super in !

Any other similar experiences in case it isn't that ??

Any one had experience of Tesco 99 ron ?
