That was for sale on Fleabay last week and went for summin like £13k.

Check out the UK Spec front bumper on it. Word on the grape vine is it's had heavy front end damage

Its got to be a typo in the price, but why stay clear and miss a bargain even if it is a Cat D lets say....?

A cat d needs an engineers report if its had collision damage or been involved in a smash, if its got history and receipts and the work has been done to high standard, plus if it drives ok and everything looks ok, why not IMO.

A car won't get an engineers report if its had chassis damge or not fit for use....JMO like.

Whats dodgy though I AGREE, is that its not stated on the advert....anyone got a spare HPI check?

 

because not all cars involved in crashes go through insurance,so wont be cat c or d and wont need an engineers report even tho they should have one

 

Well if you know what your looking for then you'd spot this wouldn't you?

 

Its been in a heavy accident, enough to push the engine a few inches or so into the bulkhead, trash the transmission and bend the car basically. Repaired (with lots of UK parts I may add), put back on the road and is now doing the rounds on Autotrader, eBay you name it. AVOID.
