Default Is there any way I can tell if my car's been 'tek'd?

other than to fit a boost gauge?

I've driven a few other 2.5 STi Type UK's, and the one I've just acquired seems quicker.

The plan is to pay a visit to Powerstation for one of their packages, but maybe I can save some money if there's an Ecutek license on it already.

RRH check the log book and phone the previouse owner or if it was sold via a garage check with them over the past history. Also check the cover off the ecu sometimes the mappers that tek them put a licence/addy sticker on them.

It's definately not ppp'd.

Will have a look at the ecu and see if there are any tell tale signs.

It came from hexham- who does the tek's up there?

Sorry Gussy, I only just saw the reply.

It came via Stan palmers from a dealer in hexham apparently. The previous owner was Glenn Brownlee if that means anything to you?
