BTW I dont know the answer but TN seem to be pretty competitive and have been the support vehicle for SIDC track days so they shoudl be able to tell you if you ring them.

 

I think the SIDC discount is a myth. Even ScoobySport don't give it, and Pete's the bleedin' SIDC's chairman/president/godfather or whatever.

But you'll always get a great deal out of Tyres NH.

just like to ad to that bought wheels @tyres of t@n last week were 200 quid cheeper than anybody else didnt bother asking for a discount pays to shop around

SIDC discount - available at quite a lot of Subaru dealers across the UK, and also at a few tuning/mail order places as well.

Pete has explained the discount thing before for Scoobysport. Virtually all his customers are members of the club (or they will be by the time they leave ), and before he could offer a discount, he would need to raise his already low prices before discounting them to 99% of his customers.

 

I have found most Subaru companies give discounts of at least 10%.

You just have to ask for it (and this has nothing to do with any club membership)

If you dont ask, you dont get.

What would be nice is if the SIDC website had the list of companies giving discounts that was published in true grip a while back, aint exactly difficult to do, and if time is the problem them email me the list and I'll do the HTML for it.

As an import owner getting stuff from a scooby dealer is a no no, so sometimes the discount don't help, other times it does.

edited to say that I do vaugley recall posting on the SIDC bbs about the listing being put up electronically but never got any replies. Not being paranoid, but wonder if I was being ignored? I know I'm not exactly the SIDC's favourite person, but think I'm being paranoid!

oh, just posted about list of discounst being put on SIDC site/bbs on the SIDC bbs, let's see if we get an answer!
