Post STI Bioethanol conversion.....

....is it possible?

I live in France and nearly every petrol station and supermarket has it on the forecourt at 55 pence a litre . As you can imagine I'm quite keen to know if its possible. Anybody out thre know if it is possible?

Cheers in advance.

Its a MY05 STI PPP, so does that make any difference? You don't happen to know how much work is involved and how much it cost?

Isn't it about 102 ron as well? A conversion I think at least involves replacing all the parts that would be corroded by it. There is a limit to how much Ethanol can be added to standard fuel for this reason. I know Tesco 99 contains a percentage of Ethanol from a "vegetable" source.
