does anyone know if the spoilers are plastic or fiberglass, but not to sure if its a after market one.
Just got my hands on one for free but has 2 cracks in it. so if its plastic will do abit of plastic welding but if its fiberglass, will buy a repair kit.

VERY difficult to tell if it's genuine or not as the copies are just that: a very GOOD copy. Mine even said "Made from ABS" embossed on it, when it was clearly f/glass.
The only way to tell would be to drill a hole somewhere it doesn't matter, like underneath. If it's fibreglass, the drillings will be powdery, pale grey-ish and will smell of f/glass resin.
If it's plastic, (ABS), the drillings will be black, curly, bendy and smell of plastic "Airfix" kits

As stated above, the DOWNforce is huge. That's pushing it ONTO the car, not ripping it off.

Mine is held on with three bolts each side, plus Sika-flex. it has been on the car some years now, and has been at (cough) high (cough) speeds, with no movement whatsoever.
