hello people im a newbie!
Hello
Bought my first scoobie sti last week after saving my skinny *** off for years and driving round in cars suitable for the scrapyard for the first 4years of my driving life!!!
very pleased to say i bought it without a loan not a great fan of them, has to be said!
umm so its a bubble eye 50,000 miles on a 02 plate hopefully the pics will come up in the links sorry if they dont!
the subaru so far has confirmed all my expectations of owning one! One thing that suprised me was the community vibe of having one never when i was driving round in my 20 year old honda civic or old bangor 106 did anybody wave but i love how the subaru drivers wave at each other soo cool! as for the cars i absolutly adore it from the seats to the wheels i cannot think of one thing that subaru have done wrong... to subaru!
hope the pics come up there not that brilliant yet i hope to wait until the summer then get some really good ones with nice backgrounds.

Welcome mate! Bugeyes are the best not that Im biased
That defo looks like a wrx and not an sti mate. The headlights have been painted & arent the sti versions. The bonnet scoop is a wrx version too. Also as mentioned the fogs, badging etc is missing. Anyhow still a very nice motor. Hope you didnt pay sti prices tho

thanks for the welcomes it does look like a wrx i would agree the guy who had it before me replaced some random *** parts to make it like slightly unusual.which i like im not keen on bodykits and things that take too much of the original lines away from the car.. saying that i will be doing some slight mods when the money tree starts dropping leaves!
to do is as follows... anyone with any parts welcome to pop me a pm.
carbon fibre front splitter
some bright *** blue headlight bulbs
considering a bigger beefy exhaust but not too sure nothing wrong with the one i have ..
thats it for the mo would be happy just keeping her in tip top and spending money on servicing and important things first

That is a very nice looking bug/bubble you have there mate. As above it looks like a wrx, just hope the wool has not been pulled over your eyes - you do see a lot of wrxs advertised as STis.
Whichever you have I'm sure you will enjoy it

Nice motor mate, always nice to get it with your hard earned cash, I also don't believe in loans (got my hands burnt in the past) - good luck with the motor
