Default Power loss at wheels

what is the power loss for awd cars from fly to wheels ive read that its like 26-30%. I was at rolling road the other day and these were the results

rb5

fly= 289bhp
wheels=187
torque=246.

what u guys think of these results.

And yes thr rollers were spot on.

18-20 % as a rule anything more than that and it's pub figures

RB5 as standard is running something like 215bhp without tht WRSport upgrade. Your WHP is about right, WHP x16% gives you a realistic BHP expectation, in this case 216.9BHP

53 wrx ur saying that my car has 216.9 bhp at the flywheel.

Cheers guys. Yea 53wrx i aint updated that . Every thing is standard apart from a remap. Im gathering that the power at the flywheel is just a calculated guess by the rr guys from the power to the wheels. Im was expecting alot more power at the wheels with 290 at the fly.

Different rollers will give different readings for wheel figures, there is no set percentage for converting back and forth only very rough estimates. (I'm not talking about how the actual rolling road does it here.)
I would only take any notice of the flywheel figures they give.

Are you sure your figures are right? I was on the same rollers and got 242 at the wheels and 292-ish at the flywheel. Thats roughly 18% losses, and from what I've seen of the other cars they are something similar. Would the rolling road operator touching the brakes on coast down affect the readings?
