Thinking of booking a room at Travelodge on the M4 before flying out of Heathrow. Does anybody know if it is possible to leave the motorway at the eastbound services to get to the Travelodge on the westbound or will i have to drive all the way to junction 2 to get back?

I'm afraid that you have to go all the way around as the Police have sectioned the Motor way slip road off. they have one of the those automatic Bollard that goes up and down. It may not be worth risking it as you have to pass the Motor Police Pit stop to pass. My Cousin lives right next door to the travel lodge.

Cheers Alex how far is it to jct 2 from the services?

 

It's got to be about 1.5 miles not alot just a Pain when your used to getting off at the services and sneaking around the back.

Quick route:

Go towards Honslow, Mind the Camera facing you as its a 40mph!

Get to the lights and take a left.

Get to a mini Roundabout and doa right.

Long road over evil speed bumps where you will get to a round about.

Do a left - 100yrds and you will be at another mini Round about.

Go straight over. 100m you will see the Travel Lodge on teh left next to my couin's house withthe Ice Cream Van parked up.

You have reached your Destination.
