Last time I spoke to a dealer he still had a showroom and forecourt full of MY08 cars but hadn't sold a single one. And I've still not seen any on the road. How about a one week experiment to report sightings - like the bird watching thing the RSPB do every year.

I propose that anyone spotting a MY08 Impreza on the road logs it here in this format :

Let's do this for one week, after which we can see how rare they really are!

first and hopefuly last one i see untill litchfield or similar get their hands on them

Colour :silvery/champagne colour.

admittedly i had to double take but is was definately a MY08, driver looked please with himself, passenger might have thought why i was at them lol.

 

Saw a blue WRX parked up in one of the Heathrow car parks recently perhaps the owner was hoping to have it nicked

 

Maybe as they're so bland they just blend in with the masses, and they pass by unnoticed.

 

Is it true they have got rid of the pillarless doors I saw the demo car transporter outside waldonways in maidstone, maybe the STI will be ok but the WRX looks too tame.

 

Just followed one up the road,and was even modelling a pink STI badge.
