Won't start! Advice please
I have a 2003 WRX, totally reliable so far but just now it wouldn't turn over.
It's on the original battery and I suspect this is the culprit but not sure.
Just lately when turning the key the alarm has made a momentary noise. Is this a sign of impending battery failure?
Thanks chaps. Not happy driving the Galaxy!!

Tried starting and all the lights including inside ones dimmed quite a lot but no turning over so I think it must be low battery power.
I've got it on charge and will see in the morning I guess. Thanks
If the alarm just beeps but the engine wont turn over its usually because the battery charge is low - this seems to happen a lot with Imprezas, especially if you leave them for a week without driving as the alarm / tracker seems to drain the battery really quickly.
If you're getting a battery from Halfords check to see if they are still doing the one with the 3 year guarantee on it.

Will do. Cheers
Got the calcium one with 4 yr guarantee. £85 fitted.
My battery came up as "unserviceable".
That's the only thing that's EVER failed on the Scoob and can't blame Subaru for that- great car!
