I'm with Tesco and it didn't cost anything for backbox.

Some will add more £££'s and some will say nothing. How long is a piece of string - ask them.

Would they really pick you up on it? I can understand alloys and engine mods, but it's just an exhaust... Would they not pay out on a claim based purely on something like this?

P.S. cost me nothing with Privilige

It depends... why did you buy your backbox? Did it make the car sound better? Makes the car sound better and more attractive than standard ones to nasty theiving ....

I'm with Privilege, they told me that if it doesn't affect the bhp then they don't need to know. I've got a Subaru WR Sport backbox which I'm told doesn't change the output, but sounds nice!

I have had insurers tell me that there not bothered about alloys but should I make a claim they will only pay the value of OEM alloys... In my experience you have to put some effort in to find after market alloys that cost more then dealer supplied OEM ones.

Admiral charged me £50 and it was only for an STi backbox, however the £50 is regardless of whether it's a backbox or full system.

I was with Direct line last year and I paid an extra £60 just for the backbox.

This year I'm with Asda's and they haven't charged me anything extra...
