hi i have a 94 wrxsti and even if i pop out for a short run it smells a bit eggy when i get home only new thing on it is front pads friday could that do it anyone shed any light plz

how sure are u shane and if the case can i decat and smack it back on for the mot ? ps thx u always seem to spend time reading and helping others wish i could but i know f@@@all bout these motors had a gsi cav b4 sometimes wish i still did lol

 

was just guessing mate, but they do tend to smell a bit sometimes, I have mine on just for MOT's (shhh)

 

i still got my vectra GSi, much nicer drive than the scooby tbh, and eats most scoobys on the *** rofl

 

could be the pads, what pads are they?

Company Pug 405 I drove to Denmark started stinking inside on the way (not me!). Smelled more fishy than eggy to me. Anyhow, when I got back it turned out to be a leaking heater matrix (there was however no obvious drop in coolant level).
