Default Pics of Mud Flaps on a Blob Eye please?

Anyone point me at anyone in the members gallery or post some pics of a WR Blue Blob with flaps on (or the smaller stone deflectors)? Would like to see what both blue and black flaps look like on a blue motor.

Any opinions on what they think about the looks and whether it should be all 4 or nothing (rather than just fronts) would be appreciated.
Cheers.

Got to be all 4, fronts will certainly save your lower doors from stone chips.

Black ones suit any colour car, these are the safe bet. Blue ones often don't match up in colour and look a bit daft in my opinion.

Thanks for the replies.
After about 2 seconds thought I wondered why I asked about doing just the fronts

I think the blue look OK from a distance but I can see where a closer inspection may show up the mismatch. I do like the carbon fibre ones...oh yes. Bet they are nice and cheap

Has anyone bought any of these:
SUBARU IMPREZA WRX & STI WRC STYLE MUDFLAPS / MUD FLAPS on eBay Subaru, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (item 230154241372, end time 30-Jul-07 16:54:37 BST)

Wondering if they are any good for the price? Obviously I would get WRX or plain - NOT STi ones. Has anyone seen carbon fibre ones for a reasonable sum of money?

Do you think flaps on a standard looking WRX is a bit much????

Mac - where did you get em from. I am liking the colour coordinated look more and more but the chance of a mismatch in colour scares me.

Has anyone got a full shot of a blue car with black flaps?

No mate, they made mine look tons better, I was that impressed that I used it as inspiration for my user name! You can't spend £60 better on an Impreza in my opinion!

Makes the car look lower and wider. Get black ones either plain or with a very discreet logo.

Flaps/Mikkel - Cheers, I'm definately sold on the idea now, but still want to see a blue motor with black ones.

Got them from Rallyflapz, good service, got the Spec C added on by request, they can put anything on there for you at no extra cost. all holes etc already there and fitting was easy.

Cheap and the do a good job on the stone chips,

Mac

I had those on my silver bugeye gx, black with no logo's.

I think they looked great and were very good quality and value for money...

Hi Arron,

Flaps were from a SN group buy a couple of years ago run by austen_wrx, don't know where the material came from. Graphics are custom made "555".

Cheers people - I think blue are the ones to go for so forget my request for black on blue.

Nice one Leebo - perfect so I can visualise what mine will look like as I have the WRX PPP.

What do you mean, when you had them on it? Taken them off OR new car?

Took em off. I reversed up a low kerb to park somewhere, one of them caught between kerb and wheel and ripped it clean out the mounting holes, bracket and all! The holes are wrecked and so putting it back was not an option. So i removed them all and binned them in disgust! lol.

Had 'em on my Blobeye (as posted above) and now got 'em on the RB. No probs at all with them, although I am concious when reversing up to kerbs not to make contact.
I also find that they stop alot of stone chips along the bottom of the front doors, sills and under the back bumper.

When i had mine done, as above, took me a while to get used to them. Then i loved em, no dirt or stones up the car sides of course with them on.
Then i did what i did to rip one off, and now i like the 'bare' look.
But of course, you get used to seeing it how it is.
But they are a matter of personal taste and do serve a useful purpose too.
