Looking to buy the five speed one as the write up sounds very good compared to other brands. but are they really any better.?

Isn't the six speeder short anyway? Mine certainly seems so but is a JDM. Should get together and compare if JDM vs UK is different? I remember on my classic putting a quickshift on and that made such a difference it was absolutely laughable but on this JDM box I cannot see it making hardly any difference.
