Unhappy Defi Gauges

I just had some Defi's fitted the BF kind and I dont think summits right
When you look at the gauge as ye driving it sorta stutters then flys up as you accelerate. This is on a WRX 04 plate. Now usually I would have expected the reader for the boost to be fitted to the rubber pipe of the blow off valve on the front of the intercooler via a T-Piece on the right hand side as you stand and look at it from the front, but the T-Piece has been fitted on the left hand side just above the turbo
Is this wrong???????????

I'm not able to lOOk at the gauge as i hit full boost. Eyes about a mile in front.

Can have a lOOk tonight, but i'm sure someone will pipe up before then.

was guys at APP. Not calling them into question I was just expecting it to be a smooth operation and it doesent seem that way. So if its fitted correctly why does it seem as though it stutters then whooshes up?

Default Nope

No split, just had a look at the little black bo thing thats in the engine bay it was slightly facing to the side and the manual says it should be level with the hole facing down so I have moved it so it is sitting straight

I fitted my defis on the wrong pipe and it did the same. I think I fitted mine on the return to the actuator? (not a techi so not exactly sure hence why it was wrong)

it sounds similar to where I put mine.

APi re did mine when it had the engine work. if its still a problem I will take a photo of mine tom and post it up for you.

On a newage they are usually T's off the vacuum pipe from the dumpvalve as per pic.
