Default How can I find out...

Hi guys my brother just bought a wrx on a P plate uk model. The previous seller has indicated that it has a tracker fitted but not activated as he had not paid its premiums for over a year.

How can I possibly find out where the tracker is???? Or do I just have to get a new one fitted in.

Cheers guys!!

When I bought mine it had been fitted with a Tracker, but I had all the paperwork and contacts for activation with it.
Have you tried ringing Tracker? They might confirm whether it has one or not.

If it is a Tracker system, call tracker uk, they are based in Uxbridge, give them your car details and for a fee they will be able to activate the system.

Hi mate i had the same problem when i bought my impreza all i did was like what robin said phone tracker up give them the details of the car & they re-activated the tracker, think i payed either £106-£109 for the year, the phone number is(01895)234567 or fax (01895)234117.

Just a thought - how would you know if the tracker was still fitted to your car or not. Mine had tracker stickers on the windows when I brought it, but I would be worried I was going to pay £100 and activate something that is no longer on the car.

If that make sense !!
