Default Advice needed......

My injectors keep leeking.......i have had to replace the injectors "o'rings " about 6 times in 2 weeks, has anyone got any clue as to what is happening....i never had this problem until my injectors where taken out and another set the same put in.

in the last 2 months i have had to change the o'rings about 8 times.

i change one and then the other goes, i change that one and then the same one goes from the first time, so on so forth....

i have now got another leeking injector spraying fuel over my engine again, today, i have changed those rings on that injector 4 times

Just had a read up mate, and the best thing to do is to clean the injector rails to make sure there's no crap in there and to grease the O-rings with Silicon grease then install

I have heard that Red brake calipers can cause this exact problem ...... Change the colour, and all should be okay

Fit bigger ones and a GT30

You might still have a leak but at least you'll have a turbo to use all that excess gas youre losing

All joking aside, remove the rails and give then a good wipe around inside with some 800 grit wet/dry just to make sure there are no sharp edges or deposits and like Cornie said, fit back with silicone grease.

Are the o-rings split when they leak or just leaking?

the top ones are split mate....

i did the one that was leaking, and cleaned out the hole where the injector goes with carb cleaner...

i fitted it all together caerfully, swithched the engine on and the one next to it blew a seal , now that one is done
