I was in a shop last week looking at remote controlled cars... And my 2 year old daughter said 'Dad, look at this one, its a Rally Rally Car' whilst pointing at a 1:10 Rally Livered Subaru Impreza.

Today I left True Grip out and I came in to see her flicking though saying 'It's a Subaru Impreza' and 'Its a Rally Rally Car' as appropriate. She was a little confused by SDB's sideways challenge car though, she was sure it was a rally car because of the stickers, but she told me it looked different

So I'm training her well, any other ideas

(By the way she's learning Nissan Skyline too )

Jon

Mine says Mammys Noisey car and exhaust (not 2 yet) and can pick out the car in a car park. Think he`s going to follow his dads liking of cars.

My little girl is three and a month ago I changed my My00 ppp wagon for a p1. She pionts out all of daddys old cars and she tells me if the exhaust sounds right. She will make a car mad man very happy in 20+years.

My daugther can only manage "car" at the moment, but she is only 19 months old. I will train her.

This weeks new word is "Missmash" or to the knowing "Christmas." This did mean that I could walk into the living room at the inlaws and say "Sophie is showing me the missmash decorations" and beleive me It was not a lie!!!!

But for some reason she recognises Harry Potter and shouts "Awrry" in the cutest voice you have heard.

Cool

This is the closest my 20 month-old daughter can get!!! (at the moment - until she can afford the insurance!!)

Mind you, she DID buy me a remote-control Scooby for my birthday!!

And she can say."Scooby" too - also helps that my dog shares the same name!!!

I have 3 boys, aged 6,4 and 2.

When mum isnt in the car (Volvo T5) they say "Dad, do squealy tyres" or dad "Go Fast", and they have asked that if it snows can we go and find a car park to do some donuts in !

having a quic car is useful with kids, if they are bickering I drop it down a cog (or two) and boot it which usually gets their attention !
