I'm guessing it's an 03-05 blobeye

If so, remove headlights (grille off, bumper clips loosened, 2 nuts and disconnect wires) then remove all bulbs and wiring, remove white nylon bracket and all the small black screws (one behind bracket, another behind foam pad), cover the adjuster motor with foil and put in 100ŗ C oven for 10 mins. Remove from oven and use a flat screwdriver to pop the tabs and prise apart, taking care not to get calk (the sticky black stuff) on the reflectors. Remove one screw to release part of the reflector and pop out the orange wedge. Reverse, adding a bead of silicone sealer to ensure waterproofing.

The Philips and PIAA ones are better than the useless in daylight Silvertec ones. I fitted LED's, but that's quite difficult too.

Had Silvatec and ditched them as they are lethal and can't be seen during daytime.
Swithed to Phillips Silvervision from Powerbulbs

Never had a problem with mine.

Seen them from the outside, seem ok to me.

Might check out the Philips ones though if they are much better.

Had no end of people nearly running up my @r$e when I was slowing for turns and just thought they were numpties, then my uncle followed me on a sunny day and asked if I ever indicated. Switched to LED's shortly after and had no further problems. As Ritchie says above, the Philips and PIAA are used by many and seem to be much better.

It's exactly what I did, front and rear.
Silvatec just can't be seen during those rare sunny days so it looks like your not indicating like a generic BMW driver

All I did was buy some 'chrome' effect spray paint
from B&Q and gave the bulbs the lightest dusting.
Covers the amber, yet totally visible when operating

I'll do them for £60, but I'm in Leeds.
