no idea, havent got any gauges.

did a little mooch under the bonnet just now, and i found this little thing near the window washers resevoir... the red tubing that comes from the top of this disappears to the left. anyone explain what it is/if its bad for my car? is it the source of my problem?

andy

Hmm... that looks like an uprated fuel pressure regulator?? Maybe it hasn't always been standard?

nope as said, no gauges inside or anything. im thinking whether the car was slightly modified before i bought it, and only partially returned to normal.

when i had it serviced at scoobybits, jse mentioned something about it being a fuel regulator. is it best just to rip it off?

the red tube attaches to the top of the gauge thing...

1 minute and il take another pic...

just took these...

this is how the red "ropey" material, ie not silicon or rubber/plastic connects to the regulator or whatever it is...

and from the drivers side front wheel looking over, this is where the tube ends up...

can anybody shed any light on this. if i get through to jase at scoobybits tomorrow im gonna ask a couple of questions, see if he can help. the boost prblem is ******* me right off now... on it comes off it goes on it comes ogg it goes and so forth... christ

the red "rope" looking tube is the vacuum line for the regulator.

Have you a boost controller?

Im still curious about that black tube that is "T'd" into the other black tube.
