Very cool.

Waaay back in the early 90s the BBC did a sort of "best driver" competition, they took the likes of Damon and Martin Brundle, top BTCC drivers and rallyers like the Wilsons etc.

They did a straight race in Formula Ford type cars, then rallycross, then a circuit like the one in the video. Watching the rally drivers p1ss all over the track racers on the "road" circuit was a right laugh.

Caterham used to run 1/2 days where you could go and have a go at something similar, usually 12 people 6 courses 2 runs at each course all against the clock.

Was great fun, they supplied the cars which were single seat race cars but on very narrow old tyres to save wear and tear. I did it a couple of times at brooklands.

Didn't cost much, must look to see if they still do them.

That was filmed at the Ken Wharton memorial autotest in October 2004. Its a modified westfield chassis.

unless it's a pre-lit, that's defo not a westfield body (i.e wide body).

What was cool about the vid was how fast he changes gear, esp incl reverse and the speed of steering, did he have power steering or sommat
