Good or bad on the Secondhand market.
New price is massive, but secondhand one year old ones for £22k seem to be good value ??

Anyone here have one ?

Hi. I work for a competitor and we had one in for evaluation. Really not impressed. Ride and Handling and NVH was not what you would expect and quite bad compared to our stuff and Honda, Freelanders etc..

Don't do it. Get an Xtrail or a Pathfinder.

I'm going to sign for one, as it does what I want, for the price I (not others) can get it for. Expect to lose any friends and credibility you thought you had, and here log in with a separate ID for any questions about it

Sport suspension is very harsh, avoid IMHO.

Not a bad idea. My wife has had a 2.0d Sport for two years now and it has not missed a beat. Has eaten tyres though. She is now getting a 6 month old, auto 3.0d M Sport to replace it. I am quite pleased at the prospect. Despite what others say (some based on ill informed opinions I suspect), it handles very well for what it is (better than the 2 X5s - 3.0d Sport and 4.8iS - I had before it; NB I also drive an Exige S so I like to think I have a discerning palate!), but the ride is a little on the firm side. All in all, a nice car to be in, high up (with the benefits that has for visibility and the kids), well made and spacious. Much better imho than your average 3 series or A4 (yawn).

Collecting on Wednesday. I could have walked away and it worked in my favor as it knocked it down another grand.
