I'll break it down for you...
You're a crap driver at the best of times
You cant handle RWD in the wet so less of this 500bhp RX7/ Mustang talk
The skyline is a much older car than what you already have
SO JUST MOD THE SCOOB

I am not scared, anyone can be faster with over 100bhp more in their car, you should be scared and so should other road users though!

Oi on a side note, you up for Santa Pod this Sunday? Get Dre involved too

Default R32

Difficult to put a number against it based upon what you have listed above. If we assume it is circa 91-92 vintage and is in good nick then with those mods (which looks like stge I+) or maybe even stage II it would be worth between £8-10k. There is an R32 GTR for sale on the GTR register that is not dissimilar to this one and I have pasted in the details because I am too thick to provide you with a link!

"I wish there was another way, but I think I have no choice but to sell my beautiful R32 GTR.

I have had her for 4 years and she is a pampered weekend toy. She very rarely sees rain & never snow & ice!!

I have had tons of fun with her on the strip and the road.
She came 2nd in the Jap Racer series in 2005 at Shakespeare County raceway.
Best 1/4 - 11.91@114mph
Best 0-60 3.6 secs at silverstone

Spec as follows:
1992 R32 GTR (K plate)
Dark Pearl Blue (rare colour)
Nismo stripes
New R33 GTR engine fitted April last year (28,000 miles)
Middlehurst chipped ECU (capable of 1.2 bar)
Boost currently at 1.0 bar
HKS stainless downpipes
Stainless decat pipe
3 inch Stainless exhaust (XS Power)
Stainless Cold Air box housing 2 Blitz filters
Oil Filter relocation kit
Quick shift
Redline oils in Engine, Diffs, Gearbox & transfer case.
Engine dress up kit
Re-located washer bottle & expansion tank
Twin piston dump valves
Monster Tacho & shift light
Boost gauge
Air/Fuel gauge
CD Player (I never use, love the noise!!)
Nismo gear ****
R33 GTR alloys
255/45 x 17 tyres
Exedy paddle clutch (new plate at same time as engine)
Denso Iridium plugs
Nismo clocks
Toad alarm & immobiliser"

The guy is looking for £11,250 including spares and private number plate. Great cars and I can thoroughly recommend them having had three Scoobs previously.

Cheers,

George

if i remember rightly r32,s weren`t fetching much more than 10K anymore as a good r33 can be had for around 12-15K but do a search on ebay and you should get a good idea of what the std/cheaper ones are fetching or search the japimporters for stock and pricing

Many many thanks for that and your effort!!

It's a v-spec 11 series which I understand they only made 1300....what with it being from ARC developments is also a plus but i'm not buying it to use it, i'm buying it to sell it straight away so I can ultimately get the car I want with cash in my pocket...

Again thanks for your help

That would be quite a rare car then and would be one of the last ones made I think. If it's straight and motors well then you should aim to purchase under £10k. I don't think you would make a lot on the car though as it would only have that addiational value to a Skyline aficionado which would mean a limited market.

Be aware though that once you have sampled one of these beasties that you may get the bug ;-)

I'd generally agree with George, but the "value" of such a car as you're looking at may even be higher....

On the one hand, R32's seem to be holding firm in their prices (at least until recently), but on the other hand, even the last of them, such as this, are now quite old.

Skylines, like some other cars, are very difficult to place general values on. They are valued on overall condition, mileage & desireability, & not necessarily on age & extent of modification.

As this is apparently a V-spec 2, it will be one of the most desireable so will comand a good price - unless the modifications are considered to have overwhelmed the "essence" of the car to the extent that v-spec 2 exclusivity is lost. Standard V-spec 2's can easily go for more than modded ones....

Just my 2p worth....

Ps, like the comments about RWD cars.... Dont forget although 4WD, a GTR is RWD most of the time....

Exactly.....

Even though this car has been modified....after doing some research on ARC developments....it's worth a chance....this is an EX demo car and was built to show what they could do but more importantly what can be done SAFELY without it going bang...

Nooooooooooo should have done the RX7- much better looking IMHO, and the skyline is such a lardy car. The RX7 with single turbo and big BHP and high revs much be the ultimate experience even against the best of the skylines.
