Default that sickening feeling

was on my way to visit friends tonight and some wrinkley old **** in a rover 214 decided to switch lanes and drive straight down the side of my car. to say i was p*ssed off would be an understatement

at least he admitted he was in the wrong and hadn't looked before pulling across .i did well kept my cool much to the amazement of my girlfriend who thought by the way i got out of the car i wa going to kill him.

anyone know of any good repair places in the north east? , either that or i will take it to a dealer.

atleast i hadn't put the graphics on that side

Try Scooby Clinic | The UK's Largest Independent Subaru Specialists m8. They are insurance approved and will do everything they can to help.
They have a very good rep on here.

I agree - just check the repair carefully. I found a few faults with the repair to mine (paint wise, mechanically it was sound). I'm sure they would have sorted it if I'd complained but I'm not fussy and didn't want to be without my car any longer. Don't let this put you off - I always use them and as said they have a good rep and anyone can have a bad day.

feel for you mate. I don;t know what it is at the moment with people driving like ****! at least he admitted it so its all going to be sorted for you. I got my beemer at the start of the week and almost had it trashed on the second day of ownership by a bus driver who was chatting to someone on his bus and failed to notice himself drifting onto my side of the road!! luckily there was a layby for me to dive in!!
Hope it comes back better than ever mate

Autocraft on the Algernon industrial estate in Shiremoor (behind Patterson Ford) are very good. They have a superb rep, just ask around! I had a front end respray from them due to stonechips and the finish was absolutely amazing to say the least! hey too are insurance approved!

Thats a bummer - makes my boxing day rear end shunt a bit easier to take. It was a low speed shunt but it's still pushed the bumper in (below the number plate). I'm hoping it can be pulled out without creasing the bumper. A mate round the corner is a panel beater but he's away on hols.

Tried to convince me, in the dark, that there was no damage but I've been there before so he wasn't getting away that lightly. Though I have the reg no and phone number (tested) of the young thing that hit me I'm not confident he'll be coming up with the readies if a new bumper is needed.

The t0sser complained that I braked too hard.

got a nice phone call today saying his insurance have admitted liability so will have the car back by middle of next week all shiney and dent free if all goes well. and they will refurb all 4 volks te37. 1 wheel would have cost them £380

they are gonna colour code the mirror ,and the plastic side skirts and rear bumper extentions and get ride of a couple of car park scratchs.

and i get rid of the horrible vauxhall zafira sri with the sport button that does fluck all
