I hate to bend the stats but I've got a client with a MY99 WRX Wagon who's 57!!!
Where do people get the idea that you have to be young to like fast cars??
Most people can't afford anything like a Scooby until they're over 30 because of insurance costs!!
Also think the idea that old guys won't be surfing the 'net is a bit simplistic, loads of IT managers etc. appreciate price/performance of a Scoob.
Old racers never die....they just get streetwise.
PS my mate Tiggs has a wagon and he's only 25!! What does that do for the preconceptions?

I think it was Autocar who stated that the everage age of the scooby driver has gone from 35 (old shape) to 45 (new shape)
Not sure how they compiled thier statistics, are they correct?
MY99 driver 35 years of age.
As a 'quick & dirty' guide any chance of 50 of each shape repling.
Perhaps i need to get out more...

Paul - I see a flaw in your plan. More people over 40 would be less likely to be internet junkies, and may therefore own the car without posting on Scoobynet. The reverse is also true, which is why we get the impression that there are millions (not literally) of 21 year olds driving scoobs
