Here I wonder of intrests to you if the wheel of STI is used and fitted by the impreza drivers of UK. Here is many STI wheel as use mould from machine house of BBS. In Japan we look for total wheel lightness with giving their body to the track for full performance

See out of intrest but maybe you prefer the wheel of Prodrive

Hey that looks like my wheel!

B@astard's nicked my f#cking wheel and painted it grey!

gimme it back!

No, seriously. our turbo cars don't have wheels in this country. they have functional, yet aesthetic rubber tracks. Prodrive simply reduced the depth of the rubber for the WRC UK version of the car. better handling rubber tracks I think.

anyone else agree?

Nakai San,

ignore these souls.

We would love those wheels, but in the UK it would cost around 15% the price of a new STi to import them and BBS will not sell them here due to restrictions by FHI/Subaru

A few cars have the Prodrive wheels.

So, if you have a set of the gold STi wheels in 17in I will take them off your hands for the postage

I like the look of the gold BBS wheel.
Can we get it from any other sources in the
UK?, Anyone going on holiday to Japan who
could bring back 4 in their suitcase?

P.s. anyone explain what offset the impreza
needs/suits etc with the 17" wheels.

Chris

Chris Clayton,

I arranged a supply of these wheels, however I need ten buyers to stump up around £2,500 per set (no tyres) and it has probably gone up since then due to a rising Yen.

As you can guess there were not many takers.

You can sometimes get them from second hand STi imports where the owner does not realise the value of the wheels on his car and then you can buy them cheap.

They are worth it tho' as they are incredibly light, like the 22b wheel.

One popular impreza tuner is the shop Prova motoracing

1-14-21 Kitayamada, Tsuzuki-ku, Yokohama
TEL:045-591-5501

I think i will discover more address soon.
Thankyou

Can I question of the owners of the UK impreza. I discovered the message of old times when I search for STI and realise that the Subaru are non freindly to the owner of STI. In my city the Subaru shop is friend to those who tun-up even can install the tune part (air cleaner saction kit and the muffler) of enemy creator such as HKS and Apexi. Is it that UK Subaru will not freindly to non tune Subaru as STI is the purity of Subaru.
