Just been asked by my friendly local dealer which STi I would like.

"Standard Sti" £24,995 or Prodrive version for £27,495.

Delivery 1st March 2002.

Only 1,000 in the UK next year of which 750 will be the Prodrive version.

So which do you reckon I should put the cash down on ?

(Or should it be the P1 with 7k on the clock for £24,900)

 

At least they're closer to parity with EU import prices. Perhaps they'll drop the price of the UK spec car now? (I crack me up sometimes).

I'm pleasantly surprised at these prices.

 

is your pleasant surprise enough to compensate you for the horror when you first saw the thing?

 

I reckon the Prodrive version looks pretty good. I dont know if it is worth 2.5k extra though.

saw a dealer yesterday who said the standard car is 26k ?

prodrive at 27.5k

only £1500 diff not £2500 ?

i know someone that got one from cyprus, sti 7, all in all paid 25k
drove it and prefer mine.1997-running at 320bhp with rally suspension

Spoke to them this morning and they have two P1's.

The guy said that the one with 7k on it was a local car they had supplied and had been reasonably well treated to his knowledge but he couldn't vouch for the other one.

If you think you can get the car and keep it unmodified, go for the Prodrive version.
If you're going to throw money at it to make it more "individual", get the standard one.

 

How much was a UK300?

Surely you would be a bit pi$$ed if you just bought one of them!?

guess as limited edition they should in theory command a premium?
