Question Are these droplinks?

hi was checking under the front of my car to see if i could find a loose heatshield(i have a very annoying rattle!!!!) when i noticed the difference on the drivers side to the passenger side of these but not sure what they are

drivers side http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k1...8/DSCF0695.jpg
Passenger http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k1...8/DSCF0697.jpg

i thought the drivers side looked wrong if i need to get it fixed how much do you think it will cost?

thanks ian

more likely to be your antiroll bar bushes letting it slide in its mounts

is it a serious problem though ? its not dangerous to drive like that is it? would that be causing the annoying rattle/knocking sound i have?

poly bushes only cost £12 a pair from most suppliers, easy to change, check the diameter of the bar first, thers a few sizes, think there 21mm though on a 95.

check your calipers for the rattle first. 2pots are are on slides which wear causing them to rattle. had the problem on mine before i upgraded to 4pots. hold the caliper and see if you can rock it. there should be the minimal of play!

think your droplinks will be fine, but the rollbar bushes are suspect!
