Better than Greek prices at roughly 32,700GBP and that's not the Prodrive version. The plain WRX goes for 25454 GBP here.

Well, better than expected I suppose, but still pricey compared to EU imports

Prices are better then even the dealers expected. I've been talking to a few recently, and they were expecting prices of about £27k for the standard one, and about £30k for the Prodrive Style version.

These prices seem to be only about £2.5K higher than a Euro import, and if the above statement is correct about a tracker system fitted as well, as well as the 3 year warranty and Subaru assist, then I guess the cars will sell very well indeed.

Hi John

I just noticed you are from Stortford, likewise. What are you driving? and I will keep an eye out for you. There seems to be a few people from B/S on bbs. Jen

I think he put £27,495 for the Prodrive version and £25,995 for the normal STi.

PS Why did u edit it? Is this a cover up

Are these prices confirmed yet? I spoke to my dealer recently and was quoted £29995.

What a ripoff in the UK. Here in Switzerland the standard STI VII is around 20.5k and the Prodrive one about 1000 quidd more. With 3 years warranty etc. And these are the official quotes.
They even had to lower the price of the WRX due to very low sales. They now even offer one with a similar body kit to your UK300 but with a Prodrive-like rear wing.

Cheers

Mike

Exclamation

spoke to a dealer earlier who said its not supposed to be officially announced til next weekend...

but he told me anyway........

26k standard and 27.5k Prodrive.

he says they are already selling well and he mentioned 400 already ordered ? Jan delivery. has not got any brochures etc yet though.

bit disappointing. was hoping they would come out cheaper than that myself.

IMHO, i would rather have one without the prodrive kit. all the big spoilers do is attract scum and plod. better to be a bit more discreet, have the same power, and spend the extra on scoobysport stuff.
ive found uk dealers hopeless. so if its 26k for a uk one, whats the best price so far for a euro one? and why the **** aint they putting pink badges on it?

Yeah i know Spudgun, the first thing i would do is give it a pink nose. I think i would go for the Prodrive version. Not too bad value compared to the standard. The spoiler looks great and to get one must be very expensive.

IMHO it looks very like the rally car.

I obtained quotes from a swiss and german dealer on the way home. After subtracting their sales tax and adding our vat, their prices were quite similar. Approx £22700 for standard and £24700 for the prodrive. I believe that belgium and dutch dealers will always beat these prices because their sales taxes are higher.Comes down to how much value you place on warranty etc.
