The man speaks alot of sense.
And his final point of logging outgoing travellers as well as incomming has never been so important. It's only been in recent years that they've actually bothered to log incoming UK traveller's passports (i.e reading and logging the bar code) - too little too late. Before that, I must have travelled in and out the UK over one hundred times in the past few years with all that was checked being just the photo. Whilst over 10 years prior the USA was reading and logging the barcodes on passports. The technology has been in place for decades, so why not use it?
