Unhappy

Hi guys n gals...
Just looking for a little advice...
I'm getting a strange sound from my scoob in the mornings....when the car is cold...
Anyway...it sounds like ruuning water ....a trickling kind of sound...happens when I rev the car and when I change up a gear .....seems to be coming from behind the heater vents/head unit area....i had a look under the bonnet and saw 2 coolant hoses in that general area ..(my cars not a turbo)....could it be coolant I'm hearing moving thru these hoses???.....sound seems to disappear when theh car heats up....
I checked the coolant levels and everything seems ok....
Anyone got any ideas ???
Thx,
Niall

My Legacy Turbo did this too. Never missed a beat so don't think it is anything to worry about. Can't remeber what the dealer said but I was being paranoid !!

Cool

I'm far from an expert but I drive a lot of cars in my job and I hear this with a few of them and someone told me it was air in the heating hoses/matrix. Try checking water levels and bleeding it. Annoying I know but I wouldn't worry.

Scotty.

This happened to me. It sounds also like a leaf rustling in the air vent. The centre console vibrates and makes this noise ,push it about a bit and see if it stops, also chnage your fan setting to interior etc. Should cure it. But it is a really strange noise!!
