Found this on the WEB the other day:

Subaru Impreza STi-22B modificata, car 72/400

Substantially modified in the UK by known Subaru experts.

Engine: capacity enlarged to 2500cc
new Cosworth Engineering pistons, new crankshaft, new block, new conrods, different turbo, water cooled charge cooler, replaces old inefficient air to air intercooler,

MoTeC BTCC engine management system, allows easy remapping of engine and fueling, plus datalogging, Equal length headers for optimal tune coupled with special sports exhaust,

Dyno tested at 370bhp at 5500rpm. Outright power was not the target, drivability was! Substantial increase in torque over standard car.

This car has prooved to be more than a match for 620bhp Skyline R33 GTR V-Spec, as there is virtually no turbo lag

Brakes: McLaren F1 road car brake discs, larger diameter, ventilated and crossdrilled. Brembo brake calipers on front discs, as used on Ferrari F40, uprated material all round

Suspension fully adjustable dampers all round

Gearbox revised final drive

Exterior 18x9 Raceline wheels, silver, running 245x40 Bridgestone tyres, twin headlamp conversion with high output bulbs

Interior full leather interior, echoing style of original including STi embroidery, Multi-function Digital dashboard, identical to that used in the current Williams F1 car.,

Momo wheel and gearknob, Alloy pedals, removable race harnesses for track days, normal belts retained, JVC sound system taking CD and Minidisc,

MB Quart speakers, high quality AMP, removable bass box in boot. Laser gun and Radar trap detection system, 24hr automatic tracker facility, Cat 1 alarm,

immobiliser with shock sensor, proximity sensor and total closure.

Fully documented.

Cost in excess of £ 80,000
for sale at region of £ 70,000

Wasn't there a guy going by the name of Pumpkin trying to sell this car about 9 months ago? Bit of a monster though!

Question

I'm pretty sure this is Theo's old car, and went to the good old USofA for the pikes peak challenge. The ad has been around for a long time.

Thumbs up

Dont forget the iminent arrival of my beast in mid Jan...as I've already hinted it's 360bhp through a 2500cc engine is quite something.....

Come on Mellow, you must be able to tell us SOMETHING more. Teasing us like this is sooooo annoying.
