Exclamation Stolen at Santa Pod

Thought this might be worth knowing about as they are targeting Mitsi and Scoobys parked at the pod on a regular basis.

Apparently they are able to drive in and tow the car they want out of the gates without a question asked.

thats terrible news.
the chances of hearing any car alarm when the jet car goes on is very slim.

You'd think motorsport events would be safe, but apparently not.

Off topic, but isn't that the Rob Huff that drove for the Seat BTCC team last year?

There's an incentive, if you ever needed one, to take part in the racing when visiting the Pod

Cat 3 steering lock
Four Cat 3 wheel clamps

And a big sticker on the side windows reading "F**K OFF OR DIE, SCUM" with a picture of a few guns and kives underneath

Also add some stickers about gun clubs, pro-knife and pro-death penalty etc and leave a rubber Machete on the dash for better effect.

Why not just get someone to stand next to the car with a baseball bat?

Why dont trackers get put inside vehicle safes?

Has anyone herd about that glass that you cant brake with a baseball bat?

Gutted for him..

But a lot of people are talking about trackers like they actually pin point the location of the vehicle, sadly they do not, generally a police car with a tracker transponder reader has to be within a given distance to pick it up

Unless ofcourse its a GPS/GSM based system, but not many people have these.

Well it makes the £25 a year for club members parking a real bargain.
General parking at these type of events have always been a problem, santa pod should at the very least should have car park wardens keeping an eye out and the show your keys for towed or trailerd cars is a simple one to put into motion.
Sorry to hear this , gutted, i know how i would feel if it happened to me.

Good advice and a simple suggestion Kev.

I feel really sorry for this guy mind you. Word of warning to anyone going to the NEC for Max Power this is what will be going on there aswell. It is a particular problem at the bike shows as the car parks are so big and you are gone for the day.

Get on the club stands and show your support and save the door dings. Or take the missus' car if it is not a show event.
